We are currently working with a global leading source of intelligent information for businesses and professionals. They deliver must-have insight to the financial and risk, legal, tax and accounting, IP and media markets.

Due to ongoing expansion, they are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their successful Tax & Accounting division based in Central London.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for proactively building and managing a pipeline of new business prospects and managing existing large multinational corporate clients, selling and upselling their suite of tax and finance related products.

Responsibilities will include:

*The BDM will prospect new business with senior corporate tax, finance & IT executives and perform a detailed qualification of leads within the EMEA region to uncover client's issues.
*The role will also involve periodic attendance at trade shows, representing the organisation professionally and managing the timely follow up of all leads.
*Demonstrating sophisticated software solutions and learning and understanding industry best practice to position themselves and the organisation as a thought leader.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate at least 5 year's experience in a b2b environment dealing with high mid-cap and large enterprise level multinational organisations that have complex local and international operations. You must have a successful track record of selling software and experience selling large implementation projects, preferably ERP related. You will be able to understand financial accounts and have a detailed understanding of a solution sales process. Tax or accounting knowledge would be a distinct advantage.
