The Role
The Senior Consultant / Programme Director will lead a team of Design, Construction, Maintenance & Repair Project Managers balancing aspects of forecasting, resource management and on-time / cost / quality deliverables etc. You will drive Best Practice and Continuous Improvement programmes, acting as Ambassador for the function and a key part of the Senior Management Team. In this client-facing role, you will build strong, sustainable and long-term relationships with senior customers including key individuals in the governmental, public and private sector.
The Company
Our client is a highly successful with a hugely respected industry Brand and a major maintenance company, servicing a high profile client group of private and public organisations. This key role will lead and manage a 50+ team in the delivery of major work programmes (up to £20m) and repairs in a construction / maintenance orientated environment.
The Person
You will be a qualified (degree, ideally Chartered) experienced Programme Director / Lead / Senior Projects Manager / Consultant with strong leadership, management, KPI delivery and customer service skills. The role is primarily civils / construction (maintenance services) based and applications are invited from individuals with Design and Build / Repairs experience and/or transferable skills in Consulting, Rail, Automotive, Aerospace, Transportation, Engineering etc. Experience of leading large teams in a 'Performance Culture' environment is essential along with knowledge of Best Practice and delivering to KPIs.
