Business Development Manager - Professional Servic

A rapidly expanding player in a very niche area of the professional services / management consulting operating in a very niche area of the market is looking to add a business development manager to their team managing their business development function for the European market place whilst also working with other stakeholders on global pursuits.

The Role:
In this primarily new business focused role you will be selling a leading range professional services in to diverse range of customers including government agencies, construction companies and civil engineering contractors for large projects. You will also be working with other key stakeholders within the business in relation to other strategic pursuits / international opportunities across the globe. You will also be responsible for putting in place a sales and marketing strategy for the UK business and working closely with various directors of business lines in order to co-ordinate and run the business development function.

A globally recognised brand that is expanding due to their continued success and the realisation of the need to have a dedicated business development function in place to ensure they are maximising revenue opportunities within both their extensive existing customer base and also specifically identified new business prospects. Recognised for excellence within their field as well as having won numerous award for prestigious projects they are looking to build their business development / marketing function over the next 2-5 years.

The Candidate:
You will be a highly successful sales professional that has had formal sales training in the past particularly SPIN, TAS, Miller Hieman etc and can demonstrate a track record of over achieving new business targets within a solution lead sales environment. You will ideally have been in a service lead sales environment ideally professional services in order to understand the important of key stakeholder management etc, however they will also consider people from other service lines such as management consulting etc. You will need to be someone that has a degree within marketing, business or an engineering environment and be someone that is self motivated and self managing.

The Package:
On offer is a very attractive package with a base salary of between £50,000-£75,000 depending on experience, health and a company related profit share scheme.
