Our client provides business solutions for forecasting, modelling and analytics for real estate and alternative investment firms in the UK and internationally.

They are seeking a talented, creative and motivated pre-sales / sales support professional to join the team, who are responsible for identifying and providing sophisticated front / middle office analytical and decision making software solutions.

The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in assisting the sales manager through the strategic sales cycles, to achieve their ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.

Responsibilities
• Collaboration with the sales manager to clearly understand prospects/customer needs and requirements, so as to identify and help deliver the clients value proposition.
• Direct communication with senior executives at prospective and existing clients.
• Participation in the preparation and delivery of product demonstrations and proof of concepts
• Contribution to RFI/RFP and tender process.
• Liaison with product team to provide feedback about client product requirements or ideas to help innovate.
• Engagement in self-development to improve knowledge of the product software.
• Capturing, maintaining and tracking of all communication and transactional information in the CRM system.
• Keeping abreast of industry trends, competition, competitive issues and products to identify unique differentiators relevant to prospective clients.

Requirements
• 2-3 years’ experience working in the real estate / asset management / investment management sectors. You could be at a software supplier or at a user and looking to move career direction.
• An understanding of the sales process and commercial awareness.
• An understanding and desire to help sell front office software to the wider alternative investment and asset management industry.
• Strong problem solving skills including an ability to handle challenging questions in sales situations.
• Ability to quickly establish key facts and requirements so as to articulate the company and the value proposition of the software solution.
• Excellent communication, organisational and presentation skills in English.
• Persistent and enthusiastic in approach.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively.
• A team player who thrives on strong collaboration, but also comfortable working as an individual.
• Occasional European travel, but focus will be in UK.
