Business Development Manager - enterprise software

Our client is an established supplier of software solutions to the property sector for facilities management (CAFM) and integrated workplace management (IWMS) and is part of a very successful group with offices in the UK and internationally. Growth plans mean they have a requirement for a Business Development Manager to join the UK sales team.

The role will identify and close opportunities for the company’s solutions and services and sustain a pipeline of new sales opportunities to meet an annual target.

You must have a proven sales track record in enterprise software and solution sales and in a target driven environment.

Although not essential, any experience of working with CAFM, CMMS, IWMS, facilities management or physical asset management software solutions such as QFM, Planet, Manhattan, Maximo, Tririga, Concept, Planon, Archibus etc or property management systems such as Qube, Tramps, MRI, Horizon, o6ix, Bluebox, Propware, Yardi, Propman, gvas etc would be very advantageous, as would a sound understanding of the facilities management or real estate markets.

This is a challenging position at one of the global market leaders in the sector with a clear growth strategy for the U.K. operation.

Our client offers a competitive salary and benefits package up to £50k plus car allowance and an OTE of around £80k (uncapped). Candidates can work from home, but will be required to attend the offices in Sussex regularly and initially for several weeks. On that basis, a location in the south, south east or London is probably most suited. You must be able to travel throughout the UK on a regular basis and occasionally internationally.
