Data Governance and Reconciliation Analyst

Leading Lloyd’s and International Insurance Group are looking for a Data Governance and Reconciliation Analyst to join their Management Information Analytics Department, who’s key role is to define and implement the information management and delivery strategy for the company. The key purpose of the Data Governance and Reconciliation Analyst is to be part of a data interrogation team investigating data problems and deficiencies. Carrying out in depth investigations of data issues to determine how problems have arisen, identifying requirements to correct errors and then developing improved processes to ensure the errors do not re-occur. Initial investigation work will involve review of original source data from main processing systems determining how business processes have adjusted the data and then what has been done incorrectly to allow errors to arise. The required skills and experience includes: 3-4 years’ Insurance experience, preferably within the Lloyd’s Market (LLMIT / ACII highly desirable); Strong reconciliation and analytical skills; Excellent communication skills; Experience of (or an understanding of) technical insurance processing; Ability to work independently with very good Excel ability. In addition, Access and SQL experience would be advantageous.
