Global market leader in the Consumer Insight, Market Research and Business Intelligence arena is now looking to grow their EMEA team by recruiting a Senior Business Development Director to manage existing clients and generate new business within the EMEA Enterprise community.

The Role
This Business Development Director role is an excellent opportunity to sell a highly desirable solution that gives organisations competitive advantage in their chosen field of practice, providing must-have intelligence for the world's best-known brands. You will be charged with managing the complete sales cycle from cradle-to-grave, representing an award-winning portfolio of Market Research, Reputation Management, Brand Alignment, Cloud-based Analytics Tools and Consumer Insight into a variety of industry verticals. The portfolio consists of both Cloud-based platforms and bespoke consultancy and our client is already the clear market leader, boasting 600 of the world's top 1000 brands as existing clients. You will be focused on global brands that are headquartered in Italy and you will be loosely based from a Milan office working towards realistic and achievable targets of key account growth and new business revenue.

The Candidate
You will ideally be educated to degree level with a successful track record in enterprise-level sales. Ideally you will have sold subscription based services - business information, consumer insight, market research, PR Solutions or consultancy, and have a demonstrable history of targeting Enterprise-sized companies (i.e. FTSE/ Fortune 500 companies). You will be a consultative Solution-Seller with the ability to talk with C-Level decision makers. We are also looking for candidates with the ability and desire to move into management as our client has aggressive growth plans for 2016 and are looking for a Business Development professional to grow a team around.

The Package
For this Senior Business Development Director vacancy this is a generous basic salary… initial indications in the region of EUR100,000 - EUR130,000 per annum. On top of this there will be an uncapped commission plan generating a realistic Year 1 on-target-earnings of EUR200,000+.
