Head of IT

Responsibilities



* Leadership and development of the Corporate IT infrastructure solutions in small global office network.
* Design and development of a robust, secure and dedicated technical infrastructure for a highly mobile executive population.
* Identify, evaluate and introduce new IT infrastructure technologies to add business value and act as middle ware between multiple differing systems and communications infrastructures.
* Leadership and development of the Corporate IT infrastructure relationships to make real progress at speed.
* Gather key requisite business and technical information, developing storage architecture, and designing, implementing, and configuring storage products
* Develop department budget requirements and manage expenses
* Collaborate with technology stakeholders to implement information technology solutions that are cost effective and enable the corporation to achieve its business goals and objectives
* Collaborate with business units across the company to assist and advise in their evaluation and implementation of technology tools
* Participate in the strategic and operational planning and the development of contingency operation plans for the computing environment for Corporate offices.
* Lead project management for infrastructure related projects utilizing corporate management tools and procedures.
* Prepare disaster recovery plans, site, and execute test and recovery capabilities.
* Monitor regulatory compliance with enterprise security and determine the applicability of current regulations and best practices; develop, implement and enforce Technology security policies and procedures
* Bring together key security and risk stakeholders to develop and review enterprise security and risk strategies, policies, architecture, and implementation roadmap

* Knowledge of the executive layer in a multinational business their needs profile and the value they create by being enabled in a the right way.
* Exceptional project management and organizational skills with proven ability to keep track of, prioritize, and report status of multiple projects as well as work with changing requirements and priorities
* Proficiency with failure, backup and recovery processes as well as experience performance analysis, failure mode analysis and remediation processes



* Strong leadership skills with a commitment to fostering teamwork and pride within the team.
* Highly professional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical information to a non-technical audience.
* Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast paced, continuous improvement environment with the ability to be hands-on when necessary, while keeping the big picture in mind.
* Proven ability to collaboratively work with peers, and executive leaders
* Demonstrated ability to conduct briefings and technical meetings for top management and customer representatives
