Finance Director

This fast paced, high profile, blue chip organisation is a world leader in its field with profits up and lucrative contracts being won around the globe. A truly international business operating across multiple territories and vertical markets, the Group has a clear strategic vision and exciting and aggressive growth plans.



The business is now looking to strengthen its management team by recruiting a change orientated Finance Director for a sizeable division. In this business critical position, you will:



* As a strong and trusted business partner to the MD and Operational Directors, take an active role in the overall management of the division, supporting and challenging commercial and operational decision-making across the division.



* Implement a 'no surprises' reporting environment, executing improvements across the finance agenda, ensuring a clean balance sheet and enabling a strong cash position



* Lead the finance team, developing individuals to improved performance levels and enabling succession plans across the function.



* Own the 5 year planning process, budget and rolling forecast, playing a key role in guiding the overall strategic growth of the division



* Represent the business unit internally and externally, working collaboratively with other business units and functions to promote the achievement of company and corporate objectives.



As an impressively well-rounded, emotionally intelligent and tenacious senior finance professional, you will demonstrate first class communications skills and high levels of intellectual horsepower. Having contributed to both top and bottom line growth, you will have exec level business partnering experience and a background of delivering decision support and financial control best practice across a challenging environment. Whilst sector experience is not required, it is essential that you have operated in a role in which you owned end-to-end finance across a sizeable business area.
