Senior Quantity Surveyor

FINTEC recruit is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor for our prestigious client who provides consultancy services on infrastructure projects. This is a permanent position based in East Yorkshire with a salary of circa £50,000 plus car allowance, pension and other benefits. £50k salary (negotiable). Experience within Gas, Oil, Energy or Utilities sectors desired.



Role and Responsibilities

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor your responsibilities will include the following:-

Managing projects, estimates, final account preparation, and attending site meetings
*

Managing day to day operations of the key business areas
*

Attending regular site meetings with contractors as a representative of the company
*

Monitoring cost
*

Using NEC / NEC3 contracts to assist procurement



The ideal candidate for a Senior Quantity Surveyor role will have:-

*

A degree in Quantity Surveying
*

Qualification in MRICS or working towards it
*

Professional experience in Quantity Surveying
*

OJEU Procurement experience
*

Experience in QS/commercial management of projects and risk management
*

Full, clean UK driving license
*

Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills
*

Preferably experience in Gas, Oil , Energy or Utilities
