FINTEC recruit is looking for a Sybase DBA for our leading Technology client. This is a permanent position based in Dublin, with a salary range of 60000 to 80000 euros depending on experience.



Role and Responsibilities



As a Sybase DBA your responsibilities will include the following:-

Database Administration Support
*

Applying releases
*

Monitoring alerts and resolving issues
*

Responding to user queries
*

Database Installations and restoration
*

UAT Refreshed form Production
*

Generation of Masked datasets
*

Monitoring application services on database servers
*

Posting OS and DB patching application DB checks
*

Identifying root cause and taking preventative measures



The ideal candidate for the Sybase DBA role will have:-

*

Production Support and Application Database Support experience in SQL Server, Sybase and Oracle RDBMS environment
*

Strong interpersonal and communicative skills
*

Quick problem solving skills
