Solution Manager -Transport

Our client, a global networking and telecommunications provider are looking for a Solutions Manager with proven experience in sales together with a strong technical capability. Joining the team on a permanent basis and with the opportunity to work within a global leading business, this is an exciting opportunity for candidates with exceptional skills in sales, managed services and transporation projects.

The responsibilities of the Solution Manager will be:

* Responsivity for transportation solution promotion and sales, which covers GSMR, Fixed networks (optic & IP), IT and other related products.
* To cooperate with account managers and other technical sales team for solution sales, and support the requirements from the client's Business Unit HQ.
* Position should be based in Netherlands, but with willingness to travel to other cities in European countries.
* Taking tasks in customer analysis, solution presentation/bidding, industry strategy planning as well as managing internal resource to better serves the market target related to the key account customer.
* Reporting to WEU regional vertical solution sales director in the Netherlands and providing support for customer visit.
* All other required activities related to the business targets



For this position the successful Solutions Manager will possess the following skills:

Around 10 years across the following-

* Railway Communication field (GSM-R) Global System for Mobile Communications - Railways
* Knowledge of Fixed networks (Optics, IP)
* IT technologies (RAN)
* Bachelor degree preferably in telecommunication, electronics or equivalent
* Practice experience in railway communication network design and pre-sales (design, optimisation, implementation)or post-sales technical support are preferable
* ICT infrastructure experience more than 7 years (requirements analysis, planning, design, deployment)
* Able to organize and fulfil high-level workshop with industry consulting companies
* Strong knowledge of the Enterprise Market in local field
* Excellent project coordination skills and able to handle multiple tasks, priorities & time deadlines simultaneously
* Self-motivated, results-driven and eager to win business.
* Good cooperation and communication skills gained from working in a multi-cultured environment
* Language requirements: Must speak local language as well as English
