Business Development Manager - Managed Hosting - £150k+ ote

Are you a true networker? Do you have a range of contacts in your "black book" within financial services and / or legal companies, if so then read on as this leading innovative award winning solution provider could be your dream job.

The Role:
In this business development manager role your primary focus with be new business however this innovative and leading player is not looking for someone who can make 50 calls a day. They are looking for a business development manager that is an effective networker with a range of contacts at "C" / director level within the financial services and legal sectors so that they can open doors to start a relationship. They believe in working closely with their clients, entertaining them and working smart as opposed to working hard and playing the numbers.

The Company:
A leading and innovative player offering a range of services that give their clients complete peace of mind. Being ISO 27001 accredited and with a 24/7 onshore service desk they offer a service second to none in terms of hosting and IT support. Additionally they offer a range of services based around datacenter management such as business continuity, virtulisation and application management. They also have an onshore / offshore development team for specific projects clients as well as being able to offer a diverse range of hosted solutions such as Exchange, SharePoint as well as more b-spoke solutions based on the clients requirements

The Candidate:
You will be a highly successful sales professional targeting the financial services or legal sectors. You will also have a sound knowledge and track record of selling technology based solutions, any exposure to managed services, managed hosting or IT support would be highly advantageous. However what is most important is that you are an effective networker that is comfortable taking clients to the rugby or for dinner or attending networking events to develop relationships at director level within target prospects.

The Package:
On offer is a very attractive package with a base salary of between £50,000-£75,000 depending on experience and uncapped ote £100,000-£150,000 which is based on a very generous commission plan of 5% of turnover (not profit). This is a company that is growing and promotes from within, so this could be the first step on the career ladder.
