Solution Manager (transportation background)

Our client, a global networking and telecommunications provider are looking for a Solutions Manager with proven experience in sales together with a strong technical capability and good strategic sales planning experience. Joining the team on a permanent basis and with the opportunity to work within a global leading business, this is an exciting opportunity for candidates with exceptional skills in sales and managed services.

The responsibilities of the Solution Manager will be:

* Responsibility for the transportation solution promotion and sales, which covers GSM-R, Fixed network (optic & IP), IT and other related products.
* To cooperate with the account managers and other technical sales team for solution sales, and support the requirements from the client's Business Unit HQ.
* Position should be based in Netherlands, but with willingness to travel to other cities in European countries.

For this position the successful Solutions Director / Manager will possess the following skills:

* Knowledge of railway communication field (GSM-R)
* Knowledge of Fixed networks (Optics, IP)
* IT technologies (RAN)
* Self-motivated, results-driven and eager to win business.
* Good cooperation and communication skills gained from working in a multi-cultured environment
* Fluent French and English
