Financial Controller

Financial Controller sought for the UK division of an International Alcoholic Drinks business based in Central London. The business is currently looking to strengthen its finance function by recruiting a technically strong senior finance professional. Reporting into the UK Finance Director this role will involve:



* Owning the monthly and quarterly reporting processes,
* Preparing the statutory accounts,
* Liaising with auditors and preparing monthly submissions of cash flow, trial balance etc.
* You will also be managing and developing a small team and
* Liaising regularly with the group headquarters.



You will be a technically strong qualified accountant with an adaptable approach that enables you to simultaneously understand the business's long term accounting needs whilst being able to 'roll your sleeves up' and get into the detail. You will have demonstrable experience of accounting and control. The ideal candidate will also come from an FMCG background, preferably alcoholic drinks.



Due to the importance of the position in the growth of the business this role will have significant exposure across the business, which will facilitate short and long term career progression.
