The role
To support the delivery of Sourcing and Category Management for Facilities & Services in Europe, specifically focusing on the Volvo acquired businesses and managed service contracts.
Facilities & Services includes Leases / Real Estate, Security, Facilities Management, Repair & Maintenance, and Energy.

Responsibilities

- Develop understanding of spend within scope and develop a plan to deliver targeted savings over the life of the agreements.
- Working with the EMEA Group Manager Business Services to develop EMEA wide approaches to the in scope spend and maximise leverage on spend.
- Work closely with counterparts offshore to maximis Company leverage and ensure consistency of approach.
- Oversee Sourcing & Category Management for all Facilities and Services spend in the Volvo acquired business and services contract.
- Establish tight alignment with the relevant admin team.
- Obtain support and agreement for procurement plan from key stakeholders to ensure optimal compliance.
- Close negotiations and mitigate commercial exposure in the contracts
- Define and manage key supplier relationships to deliver best performance in cost, service and quality
- Working within regional category strategy to drive supplier consolidation across the EMEA.
- Negotiate and deliver savings and best possible commercials
- Establish and report on measurable performance metrics for all procurement activities including supplier performance, payment terms, and other key metrics.
- Responsible for Partner Management across for OEMs / Vendors assigned Key Skills

The Candidate

- 5+ years experience in Procurement buying roles with a good level of experience in Facilities/Real Estate buying.
- Good exposure to various aspects of the facilities area including contract laws, negotiation, market dynamics, commercial strategy, strategic sourcing, contract management and supply relationship management
- Familiarity with large complex deal management would an advantage
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent people management skills;
- Proficient in verbal communication, writing, time management, organisational and presentation skills
- Analytical and decision making skills are required and knowledge of software licensing desirable
