Head of Group Finance Projects
London - Home Based
An international FMCG business headquartered in London are going through a significant period of change and have a requirement to bring on a Head of Group Finance Projects. This role is a key member of the Group Finance team. Reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer and working closely with Finance around the Group the individual will be responsible for various projects as they arise in addition to the responsibilities outlined below.
Responsibilities will include
This role reports directly to the Chief Accounting Officer to provide day-to-day support him in the following areas; the Group's insurance programme, capex approval system, management of internal audit, corporate cost forecasting and reporting and ad hoc corporate modelling and other tasks as these arise.
In addition to the day-to-day tasks this role can expect to be involved with projects including upgrading the group's consolidation system, implementation of a group wide travel expense system and improving the group's working capital reporting.
It is an exciting challenge to be working for the business following a period of significant expansion both organically and through acquisitions. This role provides a great overview to some of the functions run in corporate and will offer access to work closely with senior business leaders across the Group. Key stakeholders include Chief Financial Officer, Divisional CFOs, Chief Accounting Officer, Chief Information Officer
You will be a qualified accountant with a strong senior global finance background. Previously, you will have held a senior group finance position and had demonstrable experience to leading key projects. IFRS, US GAAP and reporting for a US listed organisation would all advantageous. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with senior stake holders across the business
