Our customer is one of the world's most exciting and cutting edge businesses in the Devops / Storage arena that are creating real waves with the announcement of their newest product.
They are a niche tech business who provides features such as high-performance, replication, data persistence, de-duplication and encryption via API or self-service
They are searching for is a someone with experience in the Storage, Container and Linux ecosystems or knowledge specifically with Docker/ Kubernetes. Alongside that quality experience working in a Sales Engineering role and start-up experience are preferred.
Job responsibilities:
The goal of this role is to my customers by identifying their needs; engineering clever and innovative solutions based on their products and services.
* Will be Identifying current and future customer service requirements, managing relationships with potential and current customers and other persons in a position to understand or influence container storage requirements.
* Provides product, service, or feature technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests.
* Planning and establishing new customer relationships together with the sales team by identifying potential customers; planning and organizing sales call schedule.
* Development of customer's technical teams by providing technical information and training.
* Prepare sales engineering reports by collecting, analysis and summarizing sales information and customer feedback.
* Keeping up to date and head of the market with cutting edge technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks etc
* Contribute to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommending options and courses of action; implementing and following directives.
* Being a figurehead to the business and presenting at Customer Events, Meetups, and technical sessions.
* Will work closely with the product team to communicate feedback and understand delivery schedules
