An exciting new HR business partnering opportunity with significant future career development opportunities - working as an integral member of the UK leadership team, for the autonomous UK arm of a global market leader in healthcare.

THE ROLE

• Advising, influencing and guiding managers on the HR implications of business strategies, people management and leadership.

• Driving HR initiatives to support People strategy and business needs in own business area.
• Actively working with and supporting leaders in HR related topics such as employment, promotions, terminations and high level employment law
• Developing closer relationships with the business, managers and people, to encourage stronger interaction, knowledge sharing and balanced leadership

• Improving talent attraction, talent management, succession planning and retention through improved identification of need, recruitment activity, branding and process.
• Managing recruitment at all levels within own business area including driving feedback sessions on psychometric testing to candidates - HR Director involved in director level recruitment.
• Identifying learning & development needs, facilitating and delivering local training programmes/ team building activities, either alone or in conjunction with Learning & Training Manager
• Responding to business challenges efficiently, managing expectations on delivery - coaching managers to develop creative solutions to problems.
• Encouraging greater focus on personal growth and development across the UK business to result in strong internal pipelines for opportunities both in the UK and globally.
• Liaising with Corporate HR providing input and feedback on global processes

The Person:
Proven ability to partner with leadership teams, developing and delivering HR services and initiatives to support the overall direction of the company.
A progressive career history as an HR professional with strategic, operational and project management experience within fast-paced, commercial, global companies
Creativity is essential, together with influencing skills, emotional intelligence, confidence, credibility and common sense …
