Looking to be part of a friendly procurement team who are driving procurement change and focused on delivering an excellent service to its internal and external stakeholders?



My strategy focus client are current recruiting for a Procurement Business Partner, to work in a small team of procurement specialists, you will be responsible for procuring low and high value goods and services on behalf of client and its subsidiaries in line with the Procurement policy and legal requirements, to ensure best practice and value for money is achieved at the lowest administrative cost and minimising commercial risk.



The key responsibilities include; managing the full life cycle value procurements and tender processes, providing commercial advise to the business, managing external suppliers, resolving commercial disputes, monitoring contract performance, consolidating and reducing spend.



* MCIPS qualified
* Run strategic services tenders, EU procurement
* Ensure on-going delivery of contract obligations and value for money
* Influence and interact with key suppliers, clients and stakeholders
* Negotiate and agree new/improved supplier agreements
* Prepare procurement reports to show delivery of KPI's
* A good knowledge of strategic procurement processes, procurement developments and emerging practice
* Take a lead role for procurement projects you are assigned to manage; including taking a proactive approach to service spend; recognise areas for improvement and lead on recommendations; champion best practise procurement by providing high quality and professional support at all times.
* Can demonstrate the flexibility to deliver a range of general procurements.
* A good knowledge of internal procurement policies and procedures, coupled with a solid knowledge and understanding of UK and EU procurement legislation
* Knowledge of financial procedures including price, cost and bid analysis and budget management
