Big Data Architect
Atlanta - USA
Our Client, a leading engineering consultancy globally, are looking for a Senior Level Big Data Architect to join their Data Analytics team on a 6 month initial contract.
Essential Responsibilities will include
* Partner with internal functions across the entire business to lead strategy and delivery of technology and innovation via systems like Greenplum, HDFS, Talend, and associated big data engines
* Develop and implement a user engagement model to support rapid conversion of existing solutions
* Develop operational models to provide technical support for internal and external stakeholders
* Manage project timelines, financials, services, and contracts to deliver all projects on-time and under-budge
The essential skills for this role:
* Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited university or college
* Minimum of 5 years of data and reporting experience (i.e. Big Data, Data Processing, etc.)
* Business Intelligence / Data Warehouse experience
* Experience with visualization software
* Ability to influence and make recommendations to all levels of leadership
