Financial Controller - Bury St. Edmunds
Reed Finance have an excellent opportunity for a high calibre finance professional to join a large organisation as a Financial Controller.
The primary purpose of this job is financial control through strong business partnering and the management of robust processes and controls.
Key reponsibilities will include: -
* Responsible for all Group, Divisional and Business reporting requirements including monthly results, forecasting and monthly reporting.
* Business partnering, financial management of the business. Actively contribute to decisions regarding business and financial strategy.
* Put in place key measures for tracking performance against financial and non-financial indicators to provide meaningful management information and support decision making.
* Assist with bids and pricing of contract change, provide commercial finance support as required.
* Build and maintain financial models to support cash and working capital forecasting and management. Full balance sheet management and review.
* Continuous improvement in quality and accuracy of reporting. Drive reporting and process improvement efficiencies and share best practice.
* Identify and support the business to deliver opportunities to improve efficiency or add value.
* Develop and manage a high performing Finance team who will provide support to the commercial and operational colleagues through reporting, analysis and challenge
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant will post qualification experience within a similar level of role. Experience of managing a finance teams and strong IT skills are important.
