Service Manager (ServiceNow) - London

Rate: £55K to £65K (Permanent) + Bens

Functional Areas: Customer Service / CRM

You will be responsible for the maintenance and configuration of the IT Service Management tool, ServiceNow, which will involve working to an agreed model to translate the requirements of the owners and key contacts into a live implementation.

On a day to day basis, the role with perform fundamental administration and configuration tasks in the ServiceNow tool.

The role will manage the twice yearly ServiceNow release cycle and will liaise with ServiceNow as and when incidents and/or requests need to be raised.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Help Deliver the service management roadmap, which is aiming to deliver a number of self-service, automation and orchestration initiatives.
Maintain the ServiceNow platform on a day to day basis, using expert knowledge of how the system works.
Scrutinising requests for change
Maintaining a working knowledge of all of the Service Management processes
Resolve support calls in a timely manager and to OLA escalating as required
Vendor Management
Continuous Service Improvement
Development & Testing
You must be able to demonstrate some of the following:

Have performed a similar role with ServiceNow with a similar size user base (600)
Extensive knowledge and experience of using JavaScript, Web Design, Server-side programming, data structures, HTML, CSS, Ajax methodologies
Experience with some or all of the following would be a distinct advantage - Unix, Linux, Windows, PHP, SQL, SOAP, XML, C#, Python
You must be able to demonstrate strong relationship skills
Have experience of managing and interacting with global teams
Experience in support team management - in particular with rollout of new processes and ways of working.
You must be ITIL qualified to Foundation level with some lifecycle stream certificates.

Ideally you will be educated to degree level.

You must have highly developed written communication skills and be capable of producing global and sensitive communications to a varied audience.

You must also have excellent verbal and interpersonal skills with experience of working in a customer facing environment at a consultancy level.
