I'm currently searching for experienced Software Engineers to join a revolutionary start-up in Manchester.

The Role:

* Enhance modules as well as new features to the organisations flagship product
* Play a key role in the business logic and core services backend of the product
* Work as part of a team to develop applications

The minimum skills required for this role are as follows:

* Modern software development practices with a particular focus on distributed scalable designs
* JAVA/JVM experience
* Scala/AKKA experience
* Experience with at least one database system
* Experience/Knowledge in writing multi-threaded software

Desirable skills/experiences for this role are as follows:

* Experience in E-Commerce & Retail Environment
* Understanding of other functional programming from other non-Scala languages
* Exposure to SMACK Stack & how it used to create Big Data Platforms
* Knowledge/experience with ScalaJS, AngularJS & ReactJS
