Sales Director - FMCG

We are currently working closely with a leading FMCG based in Kent.
Due to internal promotion and ongoing success, they are currently looking to recruit an experienced Sales Director to lead a team responsible for sales revenue of over £200million.
The Sales Director will be responsible for preparing and delivering long-term sales and demand plans aligned to the company's overall strategic goals; nurture long-term relationships with their key retail clients at all levels; develop and mentor team members on an ongoing basis, form strategic business development plans with retailer and other clients; lead the category management agenda ensuring it adds value to their clients with a primary focus on research, data analysis and multi-channel marketing initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate extensive experience working in a similar role within the FMCG sector; experience of growing and retaining existing relationships with clients; the ability to lead a team and work with colleagues across professional, operational and cultural boundaries; have strong IT skills including Word and Excel; excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and meeting deadlines as required.
