IT Ops Engineer - DevOps / Open Source / Innovativ
Leeuwarden - Netherlands
For one of my clients, an innovative worldwide finance institution, based in Amsterdam, I'm looking for an IT Ops Engineer. In this role you will be a part of the team responsible for building one of the most impactful internet-facing web-portal. As an Ops Engineer you will look after the availability and reliability of said portal, as well as a new system, to be launched soon. You will be focusing on improving and strengthening the continuous delivery pipeline and monitoring of the software.
The Ideal Applicant
* Has excellent knowledge of Linux RedHat (RHEL 6+)
* Has knowledge of Python, Ruby or Groovy
* Has knowledge of Java Development
* Knows their way with the ELK-stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana)
* Knows their way around NoSQL data stores like Cassandra
* Is experienced with Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, Sonar, Ganglia, Nagios, Graphite, JMeter
The Job
* Have you got experience with monitoring and supporting a production environment?
* Are you a proven hero with automating installation and integration of components?
* Is capacity management of DB's and filesystems no problem for you?
* Do you own backup/restore and disaster recovery processes?
* Are you able to analyse and tune performance?
* Can you help in evolving to preventive monitoring?
