Finance Director - BeNeLux

Country Finance Director sought for an international FMCG business based in the South of the Netherlands within easy reach of Rotterdam and Antwerp. The business has a long history and occupies a leading position in the markets in which it operates. In this key role you will be responsible for the entire finance function and will be tasked with driving the performance of the BeNeLux region through strong commercial leadership and ensuring financial rigour.



The key tasks for this role will be:

* As a member of the BU leadership team, assisting in strategy formation and the evaluation of new business opportunities and participating in strategic reviews.
* Leading and managing the planning, budgeting and forecasting processes to create robust and realistic targets as well as the action plans to deliver them.
* Challenging business performance, highlighting risks and opportunities, adding critical business insight and improving business decision making.
* Leading, managing and developing the Finance teams ensuring operational effectiveness to the highest professional standards.
* Delivering clear, accurate, meaningful and actionable management reporting.
* Improving financial processes, controls and systems.
* Supporting the growth of the business through the championing, ownership and management of key projects, highlighting any risks and opportunities.



You will be:

A highly impressive, commercially orientated senior finance professional, with experience of both cross-functional business partnering and core accounting, whilst having a demonstrable background of driving change across both. The ideal candidate will have worked in the fast paced FMCG industry and will have experience of international markets. The ideal candidate will also speak Dutch but this is not a pre-requisite for the position..
