Procurement / Category Manager
Kingston Upon Hull - Home Based
FTSE 100 multinational client is looking for a Procurement/Category Manager to join the Global Indirects Procurement team, covering a range of goods and services across multiple categories of spend. Must be a dynamic individual with drive, who is extremely delivery focussed and has a proven track record of working in a fast paced environment on a global scale.
Key areas:
* Effective stakeholder engagement
* Proven track record of procurement within the Private Sector (ideally global presence)
* Experience of running end to end tenders across a range of goods and services
* Managing contracts on a strategic level and looking at quick wins
* Strong negotiator
* Category strategy/ implementation
* Ideally from an FMCG, private sector or blue chip background
* MCIPS qualified (desirable)
