The Company

International design and manufacturer of advanced robotics systems for automation in Distribution and Fulfilment Centres. Their customers are in e-commerce, logistics, industrial automation, retail, automobile and FMCG industries, with high volume order profiles and who use highly advanced automated storage and high-speed sortation, consolidation and routing systems

The role
To drive B2B lead generation and opportunity closure in Germany for the clients products. You will be one of the flag- bearers of their Europe team and are expected to become an expert on their target industries.

Key responsibilities
- Analyse e-commerce and logistics industry trends and client needs.
- Develop and execute strategic client account plans
- Building sustainable relationships with leading target industry clients in Germany
- Work with company’s product team to develop and deliver innovative warehouse automation solutions for clients.
- Lead and grow a team of sales managers to “hunt” for new sales prospects and close opportunities
- Provide inputs to Marketing so as to define and execute sales campaigns to increase sales.
- Help develop case studies and references of successful implementations to facilitate scalable sharing of insights with customers across the organisation.
- Identify and close deals in other relevant target markets and industries.
- Work with limited resources; thrive in environments with rapidly-evolving process or structure.

The candidate
- Bachelors, Masters or MBA
- 15 plus years of B2B sales in industry-leading companies in IT, Consulting or Solution Sales_
- Track record of business development in Germany
- Track record of relationship building across customer organizational levels.
- Experience of large scale business c €3m
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and writing skills.
- Excellent business acumen and problem-solving skills.
- Business Proficiency in English and German
- Troubleshoot problems and communicate effectively across time zones and cultures.
- Ready to travel on short notice; flexibility to be outstation over weekends will be a plus
- Self-starter with an attention for detail, strong communication skills and a problem solver
- Experience of selling industrial automation solutions or products is not mandatory but a huge plus.
- Experience of building new groups and acquiring new business.
