In-House Lawyer

As a qualified lawyer; your role will be to assist their Head of Legal and the wider business with a varied range of projects and tasks that require legal support and review.

From contract drafting, review and negotiation across a full spectrum of suppliers and partners, through to resolving legal disputes, providing day to day advice to the businesses and supporting a wide range of corporate projects; your role will give you a great opportunity to be involved in all aspects of a modern Financial Services organisation.

To be successful in this role you will ensure that the firm remains fully compliant with all legal obligations and that company secretarial, data protection and insurance requirements are fulfilled.

This would be a great role for individuals who are self-starters looking for a high level of autonomy and empowerment with great exposure to senior management and who have financial services experience.



Person Specification

* Qualified Lawyer/Solicitor with post qualification experience.
* Financial services experience.
* Strong communication, organisation and project skills.
* Ability to influence and engage key stakeholders.
* Up to date knowledge on current and future legal requirements.
* Ability to provide technically accurate, practical advice and to meet deadlines.
* A good understanding of company law, corporate governance and company secretary obligations.
* Proven drafting skills.
* A thorough understanding of data protection requirements.
* Ideally experience with corporate acquisitions.
