Vice President of Engineering

Darwin Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Vice President of Engineering for one of our most exciting US based clients.

The sucsessful candidate will not only be leading the engineering team, but will be a crucial part of driving the business' ambious growth plans.
Our client need someone who can combine technical strength with a tremendous knowledge of building and implementing the perfect process to enable the team's to deliver to their maximum potential.

We need someone who can mentor and develop the development team, whilst ensuring that the recruitment remains strong, bringing in the best new talent.

Experience with managing a remote team is an essential skill.

Skills you will need:
Successfully managed an engineering team through a rapidly growing business
Over 15 years of experience in development, product management and development leadership positions
Strong technical project management skills
In depth knowledge of Agile/Scrum
The ability to work with Project Managers, Product Managers and the sales teams to translate customer needs into product requirements
Computer Science or equivalent education
Be an integral part of the leadership team setting company strategy and direction
