The role:
As business development manager, you will be in charge of generating new leads, chasing these leads and closing deals in order to grow profitable revenues for the company by targeting a wide range of different industries covering the North East region. You will also be in charge of managing accounts and building relationships with existing clients. This will be a field based role. The business development manager will be expected to hit the ground running, therefore contacts and experience within the industry is desired.

The candidate:
The successful business development manager will be a vibrant and self-motivated individual who can work under pressure to meet and exceed their sales targets, a hunger and drive to succeed is key. Direct sales experience is a must and contract catering experience is also desired. Again, contacts within this space would be ideal as you will be focused on generating new business.

The package:
As business development manager, you will be offered a basic salary of £55k-£65k depending on experience and a strong commission structure with an OTE of up to £110k.
