Fleet Manager (Deep Sea) - Permanent - UK - up to £75k plus benefits
This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading International shipowner as a Fleet Manager based in their UK office.
The Fleet Manager will lead the Fleet Management Team responsible for a number of vessels assigned to them and ensure that the ships are operated to the highest standard in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in the most cost effective way, ensuring total Client satisfaction at all times.
Reporting into the Fleet Director, you will advise on operational and budgetary performance and vessel incidents. Your position will also require you to oversee, review and approve all activities in relation to vessel repairs, major repairs, refits and dry docks.
We are looking for a Class 1 Marine Engineer, who has worked ashore as a Technical Superintendent or similar. Candidates with a strong container background, or other deep sea vessel, will be at an advantage and experience in a managerial role will also be beneficial.
