Marketing Finance Manager

As a marketing finance manager you'll provide a high level of financial support, challenge & control for the UK Marketing teams. You'll be given full ownership and accountability in helping to drive the success of some of the world's biggest brands, as well as the opportunity to establish yourself as a true Finance business partner.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Finance Manager to really make their mark in a globally renowned and international organisation.

*Business partner with Marketing to develop and build strong relationships with your brand teams, ensuring that you are fully involved in their financials to drive growth and profitability.
*Pre and post new product launch evaluation, providing deep insight and challenge to financials.
*Proactively highlight future performance concerns and opportunities to the Marketing & Finance Leadership teams and account teams.
*Monitor marketing budgets and spend to ensure accurate postings. Review spend across brands to assess return on investment.
*Prepare quarterly product/customer forecasts and annual plans for you portfolio.
*Perform key tasks within the commercial Finance team to ensure that reporting is both timely & accurate.
*Provide management with relevant financial information as requested.
*Complete ad-hoc financial analysis of UK management projects to ensure sound financials are behind the decision making process.
*Work within the team to develop new tools & systems to improve the return on marketing and trade investment
*Manage and develop 1 or 2 direct reports ensuring that the Marketing function receive the right level of financial input, support and challenge.

To be considered for this role you will be a qualified accountant with demonstrable experience in a highly commercial business partner role, ideally with marketing.

*You will be an excellent communicator and influencer.
*Proven track record of building relationships outside of the finance function with well developed communication skills
*Confident at the challenging the status quo and both influencing and challenging decisions at a senior management level
*Multi-tasking - need to be organised, highly efficient and able push multiple projects forward at the same time
*Entrepreneurial - help the commercial team develop new initiatives / spot and resolve problems
*Advanced Excel skills with experience of scenario modelling

Experience of the FMCG or retail sectors is highly desired or experience of a blue chip business.

Salary up to £70k including car allowance plus 20% bonus. (base salary up to £65k plus car all)
