Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Machine Learning Engineer - Machine Learning - Hadoop - Java - Python - Spark - Boston

Our client, a world leading technology based company, are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join their team in Boston. You will be operating in the Machine Learning group working on machine learning and statistical analysis problems across several areas of the business. This will include the use of various advanced techniques in natural language understanding, statistical NLP, recommender systems, information retrieval, statistical inference, social network analysis, and machine vision.



Requirements:

* MS or Ph.D. in computer science
* Proven expertise experience working with natural language, machine vision, collaborative filtering, clustering, classification, regression, information retrieval, and/or statistical modelling
* Data manipulation: extensive SQL, Hive QL, Python, Map-Reduce/Spark
* Experience with data processing and storage frameworks like Hadoop, Scaling, Spark
* Strong programming background with: Java, Python
* Machine learning: clustering, decision trees, neural networks and affinity analysis
