Excellent opportunity for a SHEQ Advisor with a new build background to join a Top 100 Construction company in Kent.
Using your SHEQ knowledge and experience you will deliver effective multi-site Safety, health environmental & quality support, advice and guidance on legislation, case law, company policies, procedures and best practice.
Specific duties include:
Deliver effective multi-site Safety, health environmental & quality support, advice and guidance on legislation, case law, company policies, procedures and best practice.
Performing day to day site support visits
Challenge and provide specialist SHEQ advice at project level
Take appropriate and robust action for any failings and non-compliance with the company Standards and expectations
Conduct investigations for allocated accident and incident and support and develop project team members to perform quality investigations.
Lead and support the continuous improvement of SHEQ performance.
Proactively monitor the closure of actions, via Active SHE.
Support and advice to subcontractors and suppliers as required.
Deliver pre-qualification and tender documentation relating to Quality, Health, and Safety & Environment as directed.
Provide performance analysis and management reporting as required.
Develops trust and relationships across the region with different types and level of people.
Skills & qualifications:
CMIOSH or equivalent
Formal qualification for example NEBOSH certificate
Be resilient and assertive
Analytical and decisive
Understanding and capability to deliver practical application of legislation and industry standards
Team player
Ability to travel
Must have construction background.
