Experienced IT Auditor required for my client, a leading banking group. They have a strong promote from within policy and as such are keen to recruit ambitious IT auditors with an eye on the future.
The IT Audit function does not operate in a stand-alone function but prefer to integrate with the rest of the business as much as possible. There is clear communication between business managers and IT Auditors as all share the common goal of influencing the bottom line and driving the business forward.
You must understand the control, regulatory and risk issues relating to IT.
You will have a thorough understanding of current and emerging technologies and a good understanding of best practice IT management disciplines.
You will be keen to mentor and head up teams of IT Auditors and take the lead with the more complicated audits.
The candidate must be a self-starter, have exceptional relationship management/interpersonal skills and be confident in dealing with senior management.
