Financial Controller - Systems

Our client is a market leading, dynamic and well-known international leisure business that has achieved great success to date. The business has an exciting strategic vision and ambitious growth plans and is about to embark on a global systems implementation programme. In a newly create role, our client is now recruiting a geographically mobile Financial Controller to support on this project.



Reporting to the Finance Director, this will be a highly visible role, offering broad exposure across the group and an opportunity to build trust and credibility with a range of senior stakeholders, in the UK and overseas. Key deliverables will include:



* Assisting in the ongoing design, development integrity and maintenance of the group finance systems and processes
* Acting as the point of contact for system queries, integrity and data management for divisional, regional and local management teams
* Providing training and support across the group for all systems related matters
* Facilitating the successful migration of international subsidiaries and the integration of new acquisitions in line with the group's new financial systems



The successful candidate will have strong accounting and systems knowledge. You will have worked extensively and in a 'hands-on' capacity with IT systems, either in a systems accountant capacity or on an improvement/implementation project. Due to the breadth of exposure of this role you will also need to have the ability to work with senior stakeholders and communicate effectively at that level. You will be comfortable operating in a change oriented and fast paced international environment. With demonstrable drive, enthusiasm and proactivity, you will thrive in a change-oriented and fast paced environment.



This role will involve extensive international travel on a regular basis (c.80%) predominantly to long haul destinations - potentially for multiple months at a time.
