Finance Director

The role of the Finance Director is to advise the board on all matters financial (inc. legal and governance), to prepare and manage the provision of financial information to the Company, to negotiate the finances for the group as determined by the Board and support the Board by offering the financial dimension to their strategic and tactical planning.

Developing and building relationships internally and externally of the wider group.
*Advise the board on all matters financial:
*Work with the MD Europe BV to develop the financial
strategies etc. on a sub-group wide basis.
*Maintain relationships with accountants, lawyers etc
*Manage property and corporate transactions.
*Prepare and manage the provision of financial information:
*Prepare and publish the annual budgets for the group including integration of the budgets with the group budgets.
*Prepare and publish the monthly management accounts as well as
inputting to the group figures
*Provide advice to the Board on the results (v budget) on an ongoing basis.
*Oversee the audit process to ensure that the group gets both quality advice and value
for money
*Negotiate the finances for the group:
*Maintain the relationship with the Bank and all finance providers to the Group.
*Seek the necessary finance and headroom for the Group to achieve its objectives, and negotiate the cost of that finance to the best advantage of the Group.
*Keep an overview on the cashflow performance of the Group to see that the Group's
undertakings to its providers are maintained.
*Line Management of the Finance Team
*Managing the Pension Schemes
*Organising P11Ds and of non-salary benefits.
*Liaising with the payroll provider as required.
*Maintains the Statutory Books of the Company, both at the Company and the file at
Companies House.
Adviser to the Directors on procedural and legal matters relating to the statutory obligations of the Company.
*The FD shall also be responsible for the adaptation and development of IT systems
to deliver financially and commercially as well as having responsibility for hardware and network infrastructure.

To be considered for this role you will be a qualified accountant with previous experience of being a no.1 in finance or close to reaching this stage in your career.

As well as managing the finance team, you will be heavily involved in developing company and commercial strategy, ensuring that the finance team performs, upgrade the software and continue to build a successful relationship with group.

As an individual you will be a natural leader, be technically strong whilst have sharp commercial acumen, be prepared to role your sleeves up and comfortable being challenged and to challenge.

Salary circa £70k plus bonus, car, pension and other benefits
