Are you looking for the next step in your procurement career with a market leading organisation?
A global leader in their field is looking for a Procurement Category Lead - Professional Services to join their world class procurement function.
Ideally coming from an existing background of professional services or indirect sourcing, you will have end to end procurement expertise, comfortable and confident in your abilities to manage the full sourcing lifecycle, including the contract negotiations and hands on contract management knowledge.
Possessing experience of managing multiple senior stakeholders will be vital to success in navigating a rapidly paced environment that is bound by regulation, where speed & attention to detail, are key to success in this role.
Experience in developing innovative category strategies will be a driver in the position, helping the business to further its drive for innovation, keeping it ahead of the market curve for new products.
This is an exciting, fast paced and hands on delivery focused role, managing & developing a key category area for the business.
Experience:
* Preferably an existing background in professional services or indirect procurement
* Proven contract knowledge across analysing and negotiating contract clauses directly with suppliers
* Experience in managing and interacting with stakeholders up to director level
* Excellent communication skills both written & verbal
* Line management experience is not essential in this role
