Data Scientist - Machine Learning - NLP - Python - R - Bayesian Statistics - Frequentist - Boston

Our client, a market leading online advertising business, are seeking a Data Scientist to join their team in Boston. This business has seen exponential growth which is only going to continue, due to the shift in modern culture and the way brands are marketing themselves in today's world, this is industry is set to double in size over the next two years. Primarily through the mediums of social media, they utilise machine learning to help various brands optimise their marketing placements. Ideally you will have a strong statistical background either Bayesian or Frequentist with hands on Data Science and Machine Learning experience within industry.



Requirements:

* Msc or Batchelors in statistics, data science or computer science (machine learning, nlp)
* Industry experience in the following, machine learning, natural language processing, business intelligence tools.
* Experience in Python and R, SQL, NoSQL
* Familiar with either Bayesian statistics or Frequentist statistics
* Able to operate in a highly collaborative environment whilst remaining autonomous in your work
* General understanding of online marketing/advertising (beneficial)



The role:

* Bring data driven solutions to a fast-growing market with a scientific/research based approach (machine learning, natural language processing).
* Use machine learning nlp to a data rich environment, providing invaluable insights to clients
* Build out optimization solutions to help determine the key areas for more effective campaigns
* Improve functionality of Artificial Intelligence bot
