Account Director and Head of Key Accounts - Germany/ Home office/ Automotive/ Insurance

Are you interested in working for an innovative company in the automotive insurance industry? Do you want to drive sales performance of key customers? Would you like the opportunity to work in a fast paced and creative environment? Our customer is a leading automotive insurance company and they are searching for a sales driven Account Director to lead the growing team in Germany.

Key responsibilities;

* Act as Strategic Account Director for top key customers as the primary owner of client relationships and manage the full lifecycle of client engagement
* Manage the team of Key Account Managers in Germany with responsibility in all areas of business including insurers, bodyshops, assessor organisation, OEMs and partners
* Own and grow revenue by maximizing the sale and ongoing use of the solutions
* Engage at senior management and executive level at the customer and develop trusted partner relationships
* Bring business solutions to the table and align with customers strategic goals
* Engage in all phases of selling and delivery of client solutions and negotiate client contracts
* Drive sales performance of key customers and KPIs of the Key Account Team
* Effectively manage sales pipeline and identify revenue opportunities

Requirements;

* Accomplished salesperson with a strong track record of selling a broad portfolio up to and including C-level, ideally in a technology or software/SaaS environment
* Ability to adapt technology in business related solutions
* Excellent communication and relationship building skills with C-level
* A natural leader with the ability to develop account plans and implement effective account management
* Outside the box thinking and proactive way of working to address client challenges, business needs and pain points
* Previous experience or knowledge in the automotive insurance claims space is desirable
* Fluent German and English language skills
