Financial Controller

FINTEC recruit is seeking a Financial Controller for London, salary £50,000 to £55,000. This is a permanent role with a Digital Technology business. 3 to 6 years experience is considered.

Responsible for:

* Managing the finance function and taking ownership for all financial reporting
* Lead and develop direct reports: Management Accountant, one junior assistant and one bookkeeper in Dubai
* Budgeting and financial forecasting, including proactive day to day cash management.
* Oversight of all management and statutory reporting
* R&D tax credits claims, and other tax compliance
* Reviewing and promoting improved processes and controls
* Prepare ad hoc reporting and analysis for management

Requirements:

* Strong academics - qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
* Experience with project based time billing and revenue recognition
* A hands on self-starter, willing to work on a wide range of financial and commercial tasks from accounting system journal entry to project budgeting and reporting
* Able to understand the commercial and business operational requirements of the company
* Have experience of developing processes, probably in SME/High growth environment
