Senior Data Warehouse Engineer - DWH/PostgreSQL/AWS/Hadoop/Cloud/Berlin/Germany
Our customer is one of the world's largest online dating platforms committed to making a difference to people and with a true passion for technology. They are one of the earliest and most successful tech start ups in Berlin and are continuously increasing their talented tech team responsible for the highest quality, quick release solutions. They are seeking an experienced Data Warehouse Engineer to join their ambitious and inclusive work environment on a permanent basis.
Key responsibilities;
* You will be an expert in building high availability, scalable end-to-end DWH applications
* Data Ingestion, from External Data Source and Internal Data Source along SOA paradigm, Data Quality processes, Data Modeling and Data Preparation & interpretation for DWH consumers
* Write tests, adding to a continuous deployment script
* Mentoring junior and senior engineers and leading by example
* Proactively input in discussions with other team members about which technologies are best for the job
Requirements;
* Ideally 4+ years experience in Data Warehouse
* Familiar with Big Data tools such as Hadoop
* Experience in Cloud (AWS, Kinesis, Lambda, Redshift)
* Knowledge of PostgreSQL
* Passionate about development with a desire to expand your knowledge and master new tools
* Fluent English speaking
