An Innovative British food brand with retail and online presence is looking for a Head of Buying and New Product Development to lead the change when bringing new and exciting products to market.
This is a unique role with the opportunity to make a difference within a growing brand and retailer.
You will be responsible for a team and experience of looking after:
* The creation, design and new lines of products form sourcing to the ultimate sale
* Management of approved suppliers and 3rd parties
* Food hygiene and safety and food technology of products
* Sourcing and selection of produce
* Purchasing & Procurement including all packaging and GNFR
To be successful you will:
* Have experience of controlling a pipeline of new products and the whole product timeline
* Full journey of bringing new lines to market
* Flexibility there will be travel in the UK
* Managing different team member within different divisions for example within product development, buying, supply chain and technical.
* Previous retail food buying experience
* Experience of procurement & GNFR
* Understanding of food hygiene & legislation
* A real foodie - Be passionate about food and the benefits or organically grown produce
