Internal Auditor- Specialist Project Contractor
London/Midlands - London, Midlands (East)
Contract Internal Auditor - Third party/Tender audit experienced Internal/Compliance Auditor.
Salary: £400-£500 per day depending on experience.
Our client is looking for a seasoned professional based in either London or the Midlands to undertake a 6 month project to ensure compliance within their third party/ Outsourced tendering process.

When a service is outsourced internal audit can get involved in the following ways: • Strategic intent and feasibility: A key area is to provide assurance that managers are using the recognised process to complete a feasibility study, to show that there is a clear business case aligned to the strategic objectives of the organisation. Where this process is absent, internal audit can work in an advisory capacity to help establish an effective framework. • Implementation and management: Internal audit can review the supplier selection process and assess whether the organisation has adequate and effective policies and procedures for tendering. • Contract management arrangements: Internal audit can examine the performance management arrangements in place when a contract is in flight.
This is a crucial area for the business, and you must come from a background with exposure to this specialist area.
You will have experience working closely with stakeholders in the business, be able to work without supervision and have relevant project management experience.
