Reporting Manager

HSBC are currently seeking a Reporting Manager to join them on high profile project within the UK retail bank. The primary deliverable for this role is to develop and deliver reporting, MI, analysis and forecasting for the retail bank under a ring-fenced and non-ring-fenced view prior to actual separation in mid-2018. This role is based in Canary Wharf, London.

Role Responsibilities:

* Manage and improve the quality, consistency and efficiency of reporting, MI, analysis and forecasting

* Interact with relevant business areas to ensure efficient delivery of new ring-fencing finance requirements

* Anticipate and manage risks, ensuring that any issues are recorded, assessed and addressed accordingly

* Support on other finance based work related to the ring-fencing of the retail bank, including testing, reconciliation, report building and live proving

Experience/Skills Required:

* An accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc)

* A strong background in a reporting role within financial services, preferably within retail banking

* Confident managing a variety of stakeholders

* The ability to provide insight and reasoning, rather than simply reporting on figures
