We offer solutions for the whole healthcare continuum from prescription drugs to personal care products and we now have an excellent opportunity to join a highly effective and empowered Regulatory team. In this role you will provide expert guidance to the Personal Care Segment of the Consumer Product Ingredients Business Unit. Your role will include:

• Provision of a service that is responsive to both internal and external customers.
• Managing the defence of substances under national or regional reviews.
• Supporting the innovation pipeline.
• Management of relationships with key industry trade bodies, consortia and regulatory agency officials.
• Maintaining a high level of expertise of EU regulations and a good working knowledge of regulation in other regions.
• Proactively advising on opportunities, threats and NGO initiatives.

Ideally Post Graduate or Degree Qualified (Life Sciences/Chemistry), candidates will be able to demonstrate proven regulatory experience, gained in a chemical, personal care, consumer or similarly regulated product environment (packaging, food, medical, biocides). A sound knowledge of the EU regulatory framework is preferred and experience of REACH and CLP would be advantageous. Candidates may have worked in a technical role (eg R&D, Toxicology etc) in which they gained transferable regulatory experience alongside a high level of technical expertise and general business acumen.

The role is currently based in Manchester but could offer the opportunity to work out of our Castleford or Basel offices.
