Senior Project Manager

FINTEC recruit is seeking a Senior Project Manager for our client who is involved in strategy for new transport infrastructure projects. This is a fixed term 2 year appointment with salary of up to £50,000 depending on experience. Experience of co-ordinating and supervising multiple projects, with staff management responsibilities. Experience of working in travel projects/programmes an advantage but not an essential.

Responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager position:-

* Manage, and continuously monitor, specific projects and programmes
* Work with stakeholders and manage relationships for successful project implementation and delivery
* Work in line with compliance, financial and statutory regulations
* Review milestones and progress for each project
* Undertake monthly project reporting including costs, funding, schedule and risks and issues.

Skills and Experience required:-

* Experience of management complex, multi-stakeholder projects using Prince2 methodology (or recognised equivalent)
* Degree qualified with Project Management certification
* Experience in writing and presenting both technical and progress reports
* Experience of working in a multi-stakeholder environment, both in public and private sector.
