International Financial Controller

We are delighted to be supporting a £7.5m turnover Travel Business that has been trading for 16 years with their search for an International Financial Controller in to a newly created position. As a result of significant growth in recent years driven by an ambitious owner management team, this company now employ 150 staff worldwide, 48 of those based at their Central Liverpool Head Office where this role will be based.

This opportunity is the Number 1 in Finance position and will sit as part of the Global Leadership team, which currently includes CEO, COO & Business Development Director. You will initially have a Bookkeeper reporting to you but there is scope to recruit an additional person within the next year and then grow the team further.

Duties include:

- Further developing existing financial & commercial reporting within business units
- Interfacing with external Accountants & banks both in UK & Overseas

Experience/Qualifications required:

- Experience of working for a fast paced small company that has grown rapidly
- Familiarity with exchange rates, particularly US Dollars

It is probably likely to suit someone who usually works for SME's, who has been very hands-on with the day to day Finance operation and who has also taken on lower level duties as & when required.

This role will pay a salary in the region of £50,000 - £60,000 + long term incentive plan including profit share. Some international travel will be required, probably around 3-4 weeks per year. Hours of work are 9am - 5pm. Flexible working is on offer.
